Dance Factory was established in 1994 and in the same year, our dancers won the 15th National Chinese Dance Festival Award for most outstanding modern dance group.
It also laid a foundation dedicated to the promotion of modern dance. Dance Factory dancers actively participate in Penang arts events such as the Penang Dance watch, the competitions. In addition to introducing modern dance and modern dance drama, more creative and social topics are scheduled in Malaysia with the integration of the East and West dance skills-based subjects. The current artistic director of dance is Mr. Tan Chin Theng who has years of experience.
